Welcome back, everyone!
I hope everybody had a really nice and fun belated winter holiday. Mine was great once I got to leave my dad's and stay at my uncle's place for a while, anyway. PLUS: I have fresh supplies from Florence, so lots of new flavour inventions! With any luck, I will have samples in a couple days. Any takers?
Also, no one still remembers what happened with the cookies and the crazed floating and the public declarations of love for Regulus, do they?

So, Dumbledore is totally awesome, I'm sure we can all agree. Time off class AND sweets? Yup.
These pink fluffy marshmallow-y cookies are really good, by the way. I mean, I'm naturally partial to anything pink anyway (they just always taste just a little bit better than other colours!), but I really like these.
By the way, Regulus, I absolutely love the way that new sweater looks on you. It makes your eyes look amazing.

Good news, Hogwarts! I am very happy to announce that, though it took me a few days longer than I would have liked to perfect the taste, I have successfully completed this year's especially-for-Halloween-Florean-Fortescue-original ice cream: Candy Corn! It would have been done sooner, but I've been having trouble sleeping lately. Personally, I think it is wonderful and delicious, but I've got all kinds of free samples for anyone who is interested, so you can tell me what you think of it, too! Any takers?

I had a vision nightmare. I didn't understand it I know it's weird to go to the owlery in the middle of the night, but I just- I had to come check.
My Caesar's dead. They're all dead. Oh godohgodohgod, there's blood and feathers everywhere. I think I'm freaking out.

The articles in the Prophet make me feel physically ill. I don't even want to work on my candied bacon ice cream today.
While I'm writing, though, I sort of need to ask: Relating to a somewhat-more-embarrassing subject, I see that a lot of the stolen clothing seems to be finding it's way home. However, I'm still missing a couple things. Please don't laugh but Has anyone seen a pair of hand-knit rainbow-coloured wool socks? My sister made them for me, they're really comfy, and I still can't find them.

Hello Hogwarts!
I hope that everybody's first week back in classes is going well. Mine is, for the most part. I kind of messed up our assignment in Transfiguration today, which was a little embarrassing, seeing as we're still mostly just reviewing stuff we already learned last year, stupid subject but what else is new? It just means I have to do a write up about what I did wrong when I failed to transfigure my bird. No big deal. I really hope I didn't hurt the bird, though
It does, however, mean that I have to delay working on my newest ice cream flavour idea. I'm doing candied bacon! It still tastes a little weird right now, but I think if I put in the right amount of cinnamon, it could be really good!
